HalfADeal is an online service that offers incredible discounts on everything to do, eat and see in your area! By using collective buying power, we promise the surrounding businesses a minimum number of customers in exchange for a deep discount that we turn around and offer to you!
How much does it cost?
Zero! Nothing! Nada! Zip! Zilch! HalfADeal is absolutely free and when you become a member, you will receive membership privileges including emails updating you on our latest and greatest deals.
I don’t want the emails but I still want to see the deals. Can I have my cake and eat it too?
Absolutely! You can “Like” us on Facebook, “Follow” us on Twitter, subscribe to our RSS Feed, and “click” on our website for the best deal of the day! The benefit of being a subscriber is never missing a day of great deals!
Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?
Not at all. Bringing your friends along to enjoy in the deep discounts is always beneficial, to you and them, but never ever required. Best of all, for each friend you refer that buys a deal you get $10.
I like today’s deal. How do I get it?
Click BUY before the deal expires! If the minimum number of people buy the deal by midnight, you will receive an email to print the voucher and your credit card will be charged. If the minimum number of people do not purchase the deal, your credit card will NOT be charged and the deal will become invalid. So invite your friends to get in on the deal so you spread the deals as well as ensure you get to take advantage of the deal!
What happens if HalfADeal doesn’t reach its required minimum number of purchases?
In the rare occasion we do not meet the required minimum number of purchases, you will receive an email indicating such and your credit card will never be charged.
Do I need to use my HalfADeal the same day I buy it?
Nope. The truth is, your voucher will not be valid until the next day. This gives the business the opportunity to prepare for your visit as well as gives HalfADeal the opportunity to acquire customers.
How do I use my HalfADeal now that I’ve purchased it?
Once your credit card is charged, you will receive an email with a link to print your voucher. Redemption instructions are printed right on the voucher!
How long is the voucher valid for?
Each deal will have specific validation period. Look under “Details” to find out how long your voucher is good for. Typically, vouchers are good for at least six months but can vary deal to deal.
Is sales tax included in my HalfADeal purchase?
No. You will be expected to pay all applicable sales and/or state tax due upon redemption of the voucher.
Do I have to tip or is that included in my purchase?
No. Tips are not included in the purchase of the voucher. In fact, it is proper etiquette to tip based on the original total (not the sale total). For example, if your total would have been $60, but you paid $30, your tip should be based on $60.
Can I purchase more than one HalfADeal and use them as gifts?
Absolutely! And we highly encourage it, unless noted otherwise in the fine print.
I can use them as gifts even though my name is on the voucher?
Yep! We are required to print the name of the purchaser on the voucher, but anyone can redeem it.
What if I don’t use the entire amount of the voucher in one trip? Can I come back and use the remainder another time?
No. Unless otherwise stated, you cannot receive store credit or cash back for any remaining balance.
Can I use other coupons and specials with HalfADeal?
No. Unless otherwise stated, HalfADeal features cannot be combined with any other offer.
Is it safe to pay with my credit card?
Absolutely. Nothing is more important to us than ensuring your security. Your credit card information is immediately transferred through SSL to an electronic vault. Our servers do not, at any time, store your credit card information.
What is SSL?
Secure Socket Layer: cryptographic protocols which provide secure communications on the internet. Basically, its programmer lingo for “really safe”.

Oh no! I lost my voucher! How do I get another one?
HalfADeal vouchers should be considered like cash. You will want to keep it in a safe place, however, if you need to, you can reprint your voucher from MY ACCOUNT at the top of the page.
Does HalfADeal ever remove comments from the discussion boards?
Not under normal circumstances. We remove comments when they are racially, politically, religiously or generally offensive in nature. We also remove posts that are considered spam as well as any evidence of trolling etc. etc.
What if the company goes out of business?
If circumstances make it impossible for you to redeem your voucher, we will ensure you receive your money back.

How many people can I refer?
How many do you got? Refer as many people as possible. The more people you refer, the more likely you are to earn credits towards even MORE discounted deals! Refer away!
I got referral codes from three friends; do they each get credit for my purchase?
No. Only the latest link you click on will receive the credit. If worse comes to worse, you can always resort to rock, paper, scissors.
I’m not getting my HalfADeal emails! HELP!!
You probably need to add our email address to your contacts. You can also check your spam folder for our previous emails. Add email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to receive our daily deals and vouchers. If you have any additional problems, it’s probably time to contact your email host provider to find out what the problem is.
